nearsighted spring/summer 2022

The nearsighted collection brings the artistry of avant-garde to the everyday - creating a new style I like to call “avant-street”. I was inspired by classic tailoring, menswear suiting fabrics, and the ease and innovation of streetwear. nearsighted features quirky details and unusual twists on familiar silhouettes. You may have to look up close to see the patchwork, collars, cuffs, corsetry, and strap detailing. I wanted this collection to have the wearability of streetwear, but also make people look twice. I was awarded the 2022 Singer Design Award for the nearsighted collection.
